Trzebiocha – easy section (Rybaki – Loryniec)

Stretch length: 7.6 km (+0.5 km Loryniec, Wda)

The Trzebiocha River is a tributary of the Wda River. It flows freely through Lake Sudomie near Sycowa Huta, and then brings its water south, towards the Wda River. From Żołnowo Lake onwards, the river flows swiftly through a picturesque valley. It is quite shallow, with seaweed and bushes, and then a regulated, wider section of the river begins. On the left, there is a high bank with deciduous trees. On the way, there is a portage, a remnant of a weir, which does not require getting out of the kayak. Then you reach Grzybowski Młyn, where you have to portage. Upon permission of the fish farm staff, kayaks may be carried onto their premises and launched there. The descent is uncomfortable, the current is fast and, to make matters worse, about 300 metres downstream of the farm boundary, a high metal fence crosses the river. Another option is to portage your kayak along the road by the farm boundary, on the left, to the launching point beyond the aforementioned fence. At the fish farm in Grzybowski Młyn, you can relax and taste smoked trout. Ahead of you is a beautiful, very scenic, and very fast section of the river, with gravel and stone rapids, and fallen trees. It is not far from here to the mouth of the Trzebiocha River, where kayakers can end their adventure at the marina in Loryniec. Undoubtedly, the Trzebiocha River is an interesting kayaking route. It is suitable for families with children and beginner
