The section from Reda to Mrzezino is easy. However, even though the riverbed is wide, the current is swift in places. The start is at the municipal park in Reda. After approx. 700 m, a portage (wheeled means of transport recommended) over the weir of the trout farm. Warning: the 2-metre water drop and the narrowed corridor are very dangerous. The kayak launching place is on the other side of the facility. You have to overcome quite a steep slope and the mouth of the outflow channel from the fish farm, which flows into the river with quite a strong force. Further on, the river is fairly calm. It flows through an area featuring numerous drainage channels called Mostowe Błota. On the horizon, on the left, a vast hill of Kępa Pucka appears now and then. You reach Mrzezino. You can either finish your trip here or continue for about 2 km to the border of the Beka reserve, where it is no longer possible to reach the mouth of the river at the Bay of Puck.
