The Błotnik marina is a cosy and comfortable sailing harbour offering modern facilities, situated on the Dead Vistula, close to the Przegalina lock, on the picturesque Żuławy Loop route in the municipality of Cedry Wielkie. The location details: the marina is situated in the village of Błotnik in the municipality of Cedry Wielkie, easily accessible from the S7 expressway. The marina offers 80 mooring berths with mooring fingers for vessels of a draught up to 2.5. The floating platforms are fitted with posts enabling electricity and water connections. The marina has a modern administration building with social and sanitary facilities. It also offers attractively priced berths on land with a boat slipping service and self-propelled crane for vessels of up to 15 tons. On land, about 120 boats may be stored, depending on their size. In the marina vicinity, a sailing school is located with its own facilities consisting of a building housing a storeroom for Optymist-type boats and kayaks, a training room, and sanitary facilities. The school has its own floating platform for mooring students’ boats. All activities are supervised by a professional instructor in a speedboat to provide help if needed. Next to the school, there is a place for recreation offering a large shelter, as well as grill and bonfire sites. A beach volleyball court is also available, and camping is allowed. The whole marina premises are fenced, illuminated and monitored 24 hours. The facility is fitted with a sewage system, water connection, heating system, outdoor lighting and camera monitoring system. At the building, there is a car park for about 25 cars. Since August, 2014, the whole facility has been operated by the Gdańsk Maritime Club “CEDRUS” and offers additional boat care services tailored to the needs of vessels arriving in the marina. Additionally, the modernised rooms with multimedia equipment provide a perfect basis for holding various conferences, meetings and events. Apart from activities related directly to sailing services, the Marina in Błotnik is a place of significant cultural and educational importance. Its premises are the venue of various promotional events, often extending beyond the Municipality and District.
