The Modra River

The Modra River is a right tributary of the Brda River. It is a picturesque but not very popular wild river with a fairly high gradient. It is suitable for experienced kayakers who want to develop their skills in crossing fallen trees. Single-person kayaks will work well here. The whole route is about 8 km long to the bridge in Folbryk (to reach it, you need to go along a short section on the Brda River). The trip takes about 6 hours.
