Section length: 19 km
The Słupia River stretch from Soszyca to Lake Głębokie has quite a fast current. Kayakers cross the wonderful land of Gołębia Góra Reserve and the Dolina Słupi Landscape Park. This stretch is moderately difficult and quite onerous. Downstream of Soszyca, the riverbed is wider with many rapids and fallen trees. You pass under the bridge in Gołębia Góra, under which a rocky threshold lurks, and then the current gains speed. Three kilometres further, at the bridge in the village of Osieczki, you should watch out for piles left from an old building. Further on, on your left you pass the mouth of a navigable tributary of the Słupia River, the Bytowa River, and after a few hundred metres, you reach Lake Głębokie, from which you again have to transport your kayak about 7 km by road to Gałęźnia Mała. This is so because of the canal that starts at the lake to convey water to the second hydroelectric power station on the route and is closed for kayaking.
