Planning the trip

The key element of preparing for a canoe trip is to plan an appropriate route. It is not a good idea to start with the most difficult river, especially when we plan to take children on our trip.

Canoeing is best to start with one-day trips on easier rivers. This will allow you to gain some experience and prepare for more serious challenges and few-days trips. The list of rivers described by degree of difficulty can be found in the following section: Water trails
